Weight loss excuses are nothing more than sneaky thoughts that you have been practicing for many years.
This doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with you or your mind or body.
This simply means that you have had a thinking habit that’s not serving you, and you need to learn some new skills if you want to get new results.
In this video I show you 5 sneaky thoughts (aka excuses) that you often use and are NOT helping you lose weight.
Some of these thoughts include things like:
- “I’m not sure about X….”
- “I’ve done everything in the past but nothing has worked!”
- “It’s so unfair I have to go through this”
- “It should be easier”
Of course, I also give you some ideas on how to shift your perspective, but the most important thing is for YOU to find a mental re-shift that works for YOU.
This isn’t something you achieve overnight, but awareness is the first thing.
I also explain to you why it’s so important to always be noticing what we THINK.
Our thoughts determine the way we feel – in other words, our emotions.
If we are thinking thoughts that make us feel tired, confused, overwhelmed, then we can’t take action that gets us the weight loss results we want.
So many times we start new challenges like diets or workout programs, which can be great…
BUT: if we aren’t conscious about what’s going on in our mind… we can’t reap the benefits in the long run.
A lot of excuses then to be self-sabotaging. In other words, they hurt your progress and they keep you stuck exactly where you are.
Again, no reason to beat yourself up or feel bad because you do these things.
It’s all about curiosity, and awareness first. And then, only from that place you can start changing your perspective and your actions.
