“I have no motivation to exercise, HELP MEEE!”.
I got you, my friend!. Being in a motivational funk is something that can happen to many of us, but we need to unpack it and understand it in order for us to learn something from it!
Now, in this post I’m assuming you already like exercising, so this is not the post for you if you hate exercise at the moment.
This is for you if you have been bailing on your workouts…
Or perhaps you got a gym membership but you stopped going…
Or life seems to always get in the way of you and your workout plans…
Now, in this video, I want to offer you some questions that are EXTREMELY powerful, that will help you reveal the truth of the situation.
Because so many people say: “well, I’m busy”.
Or “well, I know I should be going, but I’m not going, ugh”.
And staying in “I don’t know why” or “I’m so busy and overwhelmed” or “I’m not doing anything!!!” or worse: “shoulding all over yourself” is NOT helpful.
You gotta get concrete about what is it that you’re doing, instead of being so generic with all or none statements like: “I’m doing NOTHING!”.
The truth is, everything in life is about opportunity cost.
At every given moment we are actively doing something, even if it’s sitting while doing nothing.
Here’s my story: I used to bail on my workouts ALWAYS to prioritize my business.
But it wasn’t coming from a good positive place of “yeah I’m working so hard and helping so many people transform lives that my schedule is literally packed! YAY”.
No. I was stuck in “busyland” that looked more like: running in circles like a headless chicken.
Stuck in perfectionism by making progress and then undoing it.
Using all kinds of excuses to procrastinate not only in my business, but then also to bail on my workouts!
It was a tough motivational funk, but I’ll tell you exactly how I got out of it.
