Listen: if eating too much extra food helped you truly feel better permanently and didn’t have any negative side effects, I’d be the first person to be like: keep doing it!
But here’s the reality of the matter: overusing food as a way to comfort your emotions doesn’t help you achieve your ideal weight and it doesn’t help you get rid of the negative emotion.
