Food journaling is one of the most powerful tools for permanent weight loss, the mindful way.
And I know: it may seem tedious, and your brain is telling you you don’t have the time for that.
But listen: you cannot really change your relationship with food, and change your weight unless you’re willing to take an objective look at your eating patterns.
And although the temptation to beat ourselves up for our food choices is really HIGH, let me remind you of this:
Foods and eating, and weight loss is not about MORALITY.
Wanting to eat healthier or losing weight doesn’t make you a better person (or worse)…
NOT wanting to change your weight or your food habits doesn’t make you a worse person (or better).
If we can just drop all the intense morality that’s attached to eating and weight and body image, that’d be great, k? Thx.
Now, if you truly want to lose weight, the mindful way, by changing your habits from within.. by being aware of your relationship with food and with yourself and coming to the whole thing from a place of curiosity, keep reading!
